I honestly don't know Chris. I have had them for some time and I'm going to make a guess of perhaps 4 years (or maybe longer).
I'm afraid that I can't detect any fragrance on either. My sense of smell is pretty well shot. If they are fragrant, I would imagine John is right that the fragrance will be stronger in bright light.

Most likely the reason the pseudobulbs turned mushy is from being repotted with them deep in the potting medium. I keep the base of the bulbs just on top of the medium and I grow Twinkles fairly dry (probably too dry).
I'm with you Marilyn. I like the yellow one better as well. I may see if I can lay hands on another pink or red one and see if the same thing happens. It really kind of upsets me that I can't seem to get the arrangement I want with the current pink one.
