Default Tolumnia family portrait

All three of my Tolumnias are in full bloom now! Clockwise from top left, T. Ralph Yagi, T. Pretty in Pink, T. Golden Sunset ‘Waiomao’. All are branching, so I'll have tons of color to enjoy for the next few dark winter weeks...

Thanks for looking!

What a joy to see these brilliant little flowers. I can appreciate you sharing them since I grow orchids to be surrounded by flowers in the Winter.

Wow, what great colour, Stephen! I haven't paid much attention to Tolumnias in the past but I see that I'll have to in future! Nice growing.

I grow mine mounted on cork. They like A LOT of light, so they're just a few inches below the bulbs (T5 fluorescent tubes). They were shy about blooming until the leaves actually got so much light that they developed a purplish color to them. Now they bloom like crazy. They get sprayed daily in the morning, so that they can dry off quickly. Once a week I mix in half-strength fertilizer.
