It's sprawly, but I like the shape of the growths. What kind of conditions does it like?

Lockhartia is one of my all-time favorites! Mine just started to bud yesterday...it's a little late this year.

Very nice Gin. I have one that is not too happy with me right now. It started out mounted and now its potted in sphag still on its mount. We'll see what happens. Any tips from you or Susanne would be great.

I had mine potted (in aliflor) for a long time and it did great last year (got my first Yellow ribbon at last year's show with Lockhartia Gold Speck). This year I moved it to a mount becuase the mount was just the perfect piece for the plant It got a late start this year but has now started sending out buds. I keep it in a shady area, gets some afternoon light indirectly and misted everyday.

You just have to find it's happy place

Sorry, Gin...didn't mean to hijack your page

This doesn't sound like excuse.

Yours is a bit more floriferous than mine...I only get a single bloom at a time. Funky growth form makes it interesting even when not blooming.
