New Cambria Bob Cat - Orchid Board

Just bought this today and I love it's graceful tall flower spikes.

From reading here on OB I understand that Cambria is a generic name used by nursaries for an Oncidium intergeneric. Does anyone have any idea more precicely what it might be?

It's main p-bulb (the one flowering) is huge at arround 4.5"x4". The spikes are just under 4'6" tall.

I don't really know how to look after these so any tips would be apreciated.

There's a Colmanara Wildcat 'Bobcat' - flower shape at least is right. Don't know that's it though.

Here are pics of my Colmanara Wildcat 'Bobcat'. The petals, sepals and lip are solid, dark red wine color with the yellow tips/edges.

Looks to me like it's a Colmanara, but otherwise a NoID. That's fine most of my Orchids are NoIDs or have 'trade names' only.

I love the long sweeping spikes on this and there are lots of buds still to open

Yeah it was the dark colour that I really liked, that and the sweeping tall spikes. It was difficult to get home as it was too tall for the car and I had 8 other orchids to try and look after as well. But they all made it home safely.

Hi Karen,

To answer your questions here is a pic of my living room. It's arround the center of the pic between the TV and the fireplace.

If you look closely at the large pic (click on the thumbnail) you may be able to make out...
Mantle-piece - 1 Phal, 2 Den, 2 Paphs (in the same pot), 1 Miltoniopsis and 2 cut mini Phal flower spikes in water.
Fireplace - Cymbidium & a Ludisia
Beside the Fireplace - This Colmanara & an Oncidium
Small table - 1 Den, 4 Phals (1 in flower)
Sideboard - Zygo & a Phal
There are also 4 phals behind the curtain on the window ledge.
