Default Some more equitant hybrids (bandwidth warning)

As I was wandering through the greenhouse making equitant crosses (my new breeding passion), I decided maybe I should take some pictures of the studs so I could remember what they looked like... I'm using my big bright red ones a lot (I've posted them already), and crossing them with the following (and themselves, and almost anything else!).

This one is pretty cool colors. Needs more flowers, but maybe next year on that. (Tol. Alameda Joy 'Littlefrog Sunset')

This is one of my best and will win me a trophy this weekend (five spikes that look just like that). It is Rodriguesia secunda by something that I can't remember.... Rio's Happy?

This is Tol. Carnival Costume "Summer Sprite", with several awards. A prolific bloomer.

Such a nice pattern, but not many flowers (it is still a baby). Orchidom Fire Glow

And this one isn't a tolumnia, but it is pretty cool. Onc. Totosauri. I have about 50 of these, and they are blooming out all the way from this one to the lightest chartreuse. I like this one for color.

Hey Rob...have you discovered a new talent? Those are all great! Job well done

I love the coloring of the first one and when I picture an additional 4 spikes looking like the second one...

Let us know when it wins this weekend

Very nice Rob, your Tol. Alameda Joy 'Littlefrog Sunset' is quite a bit different in coloring from the Tolumnias I am familiar with. Very enticing!

It is different than almost anything else I have, too. Seems to be a shy grower so far, and a shy bloomer (well, shy in that it doesn't have half a dozen spikes). Hopefully I can do some crosses to move the color into something more vigorous.

I love your first one! Those colors are stunning!

Good luck with the crosses - I'm sure you'll get some beauties!

Beautiful. Got my first Tolie a month ago, (Passionate 'Red Galaxy'), and looking forward to its first bloom.
Good Growing,
Tony
