Fragrant Miltonia = Fragrant bark?
Default Fragrant Miltonia = Fragrant bark?

I used to have some Miltonia while I living in the Bay Area. I used to have a Miltonia with powerful fragrant. I notice compare to other non- or not-so fragrant Miltonia. The bark have a unique odor which smell sweet and fruity a little bit like raisin.

A few days ago, I went to Trader Joe's. There are few Miltonia for sell. I notice their is a Miltonia in spike(unopen) with the smell from the bark. I tempted. But I didn't buy it since I spend too much $.

Do you think it a indicator of a fragrant orchid? Dose fragrant Miltonia secrete compund from root or rotting leave?
