Question Howard's Dream has a tumor

Lol, I don't really think it's a tumor but it is just a little weird. On one of the peusdobulbs there is an extra little 'bump' right where the leaf are from and as you can see it actually pushed the leaf base up and it's all this alive. I'm just curious if anyone knows what it is or why it's there.

I know it is hard to see in this picture, sorry! But it is on the left bulb in the bottom right of it you can see the leaf base pushed up.

It looks almost like a pseudobulb but not exactly my guess is it is just one of those thighs that devolve from time to time

It looks like it just pulled one of those first leaves off the base as the Pbulb grew. I bet if you open it up you will find it comes right off.

Golly Danny, I lived in the KC area (Shawnee, Ks) for a number of years. I didn't know the radiation level was that high!!!!

It has an odd shape if you look at this close up I’ve made you can see some structure and it looks like the leaves are coming out a little odd

I'm still fascinated. I guess I will continue to see how it grows. There are two new growths and we'll see if any others grow a little tumor of their own. lol Thanks everyone
