I love these little guys on my Psychopsis

I love these little hooded guys sitting on the tops of my psychopsis blooms as if they are standing guard. The last one is not completely open yet.

I really want another yellow. It seems so much more healthy and vigorous than the one I had. Do you happen to know which cross it is and where you got it?

That one is Marposa 'Green Valley alba'. One of our forum members posted a pic of this and found me one from the same dealer. It was Jasen.

I also have 'Kalhi Yellow' but I prefer the Marposa, and one added attraction is that is will sometimes produce 2 blooms together, twins.

I grow mine in S/H and they all do very well, lots of roots.

They are very beautiful, and it's nice to see them side by side. The yellow one is very pretty! I'm going to an orchid show next week, and I'm going to keep an eye out for a Psychopsis, any color.

Camille, if you find one, by all means buy it. They are so much fun go grow and the keep blooming on the same stem over and over again.

My great-grandchildren also love them. One little 4 year old likes to stand in my orchid room and always comments, "Grandma Great, You have soooo many pretty flowers'.
