well, in theory it should be again Oncidium LOL I think this guys are very funny with the names...

BTW, a gorgeous plant, whatever they want to call it..

Actually, these are now Rhynchostele and there has been general agreement among botanists for over a decade.

Totally in agreement, as well that everybody was also in agreement that Odontoglossum and Oncidium were compeltelly different (based on DNA if I remember correctly)

According to the new Genera Orchidacearum, and as far I have been informed (I must admit I have not read it first hand), Odontoglossum, Cochlioda, Miltonioides, Symphyglossum, Mexicoa among others, become Oncidium... and Scelochilus is moved into Comparettia.

And Oncidium ampliatum is now Rossioglossum ampliatum...

well... just enough stuff to laugh or to cry...
