Should I Mount A Half Dead Colmanara?

I've got a half dead colmanara wild cat (the one on my avatar, actually) kicking around here. Its got some root issues that haven't eased much by repot and fungacide, so next step to my mind is mounting. I've got a tree fern mount with its name on it, but is this a good idea?

I think it would certainly grow OK on a mount, but they do tend to get rather large.(18-20 in. leaf) I have 1 about 1 year over due for repotting and it's growing completly out of the pot and keeps flowering away.

Beautiful flowers! Aren't tree fern mount really big for an orchid? I, myself, would plant it in moss (mount or pot) and give it Superthrive. If not, sphag-n-bag it first.
