Default Ornithocephalus myrticola

This is a small fan shaped plant with white/greenish tiny flower that resembles very much some sort of flying 'being' when seen under the macro lens. The name Ornithocephalus means bird's head (because of the column shape) and was well chosen in my opinion! It is common in the rain forests in Brazil.

Entire plant and a flower in detail:

Beautiful! Those little flowers are amazing. It's a new species to me that's for sure.

Mine came from a local nursery, Tim. The species is native of my region, so it is not much difficult finding it.

So pretty. It does look like a bird's head.
