Nice yellow!
It does not seem to fit with Tolumnias (based only upon the flower general aspect). One of the main characteristics of Tolumnias is that they don't mate with Oncidium. It would be nice to know if Braem did try to cross this species with Oncidium before transferring it to Tolumnia!

It's about an inch from top to bottom.

You are correct, Mauro. It does not seem to fit. The flowers are very different from the other Tolumnias and the plant is also! It has roundish terete leaves instead of the thick triangular leaves of the other tolumnias and does not grow in a distinct fan as they do.
