Default Onchidium with 2 yellow leave

Not sure if these are the back bulb leaves and this is just a natural process. The rest of the plant is dark green and looks healthy. What do you think? Anything to worry about?

I would say nothing to worry about. It does look like those leaves belong to the back bulb and they do eventually fall off. The plant looks pretty healthy overall!

As long as the roots are happy, then its fine. I would be concerned if it started losing more leaves though. Whenever I buy a new plant, they often lose a few leaves due to stress or change of environment.

I agree, as long as the rest of the plant seems healthy and happy, it's probably just normal leaf drop. The first time an old Onc bulb shed its leaves, I was freaking out, thinking that I had killed the plant!

You sound like my husband. I have 14 orchids, all phals and cattleyas and only one oncidium. This is the one my husband really wanted and he always says "there's my orchid, the one that's dying". Glad to know it's not really dying.

Default cut off yellow leaves?

Leaves are very yellow now, would you cut them off down to the back bulb? Will the back bulb stay as is or shrivel up and die? Does the back bulb ever produce more leaves or blooms? Thanks, first time with an oncidium.
