Default Tolumnia Genting Volcano Blooming

Hi everyone I finally got my Tolumnia Genting Volcano to bloom inside the Orchidarium. Its one of 5 that I have. I would have thought it would have been red in color...
But its pretty non the less.

Hope you enjoy it.

Thanks for looking
Sheridan

My Genting Volcano has a Red Lip with touches of yellow. Yours looks like my Tolumnia Sniffen. Both were purchased from Orchids by Hausermann. : Aren't these little ones fun!

When I can figure out how to put images into the post I will show you the two I'm talking about. (I don't have a site to link them to.) In the meantime here is a link to where I bought mine. My Genting Volcano has just put out it's first bloom and it looks a lot like the image on the site: MINIATURE ORCHIDS<b: Orchids By Hausermann
Hope this is helpful. BTW, these were the healthest Tols I have purchased... I have Pink Delite 'Maroon Delight" put out a spray that is so nice (18" and 25+ blooms and still going) for such a small plant, it won 1st place in our monthly society meeting show.

Wow good for you. I wish there was an orchid society around Central Oregon. I have checked but can't find any all are west over the mountain....

I love my Tolumnia's they are so easy to grow.

Thanks - Sheridan

Cool

Ha! When my society members saw it, they were amazed and said they can't seem to keep them alive. So we must be doing something right! Our problem (here is Central Fla.) is scale on them. I make sure I regularly spray them. Having correct humidity and sun for them and we get pests. So, enjoy!
