Default Brassia verrucosa

Just a few spiders on the spike this year because I had to repot it. I like this greenish Brassia better than the lanceana.

Hey Mauro,

Very nice but your plant isn't B. verrucosa. It is B. brachiata. See Orchids 72(4):296-297. 2003 (April).

Hope that helps, Eric

Thanks, Eric. I'm in the country now, so I'll check it out when I'm back to the big city.

Very nice Mauro. I love these and have just picked one up from a local supplier to me, Paramount Orchids, won't be blooming this year, but I have just noticed signs of a new pbulb. Once again, gorgeous blooms Mauro!

I should have added that B. brachiata goes under names like B. verrucosa var. majus. Essentially if it has 5-8 big flowers it is B. brachiata. There are other differences, of course.

Hope that helps, Eric

How do you like the scent on this one? I find it disagreeable.
