Default SO excited! Brassia Rex 'Lynn'

I've been waiting and watching for this one to do something for quite some time now...suddenly three spikes pop up and the first bud has opened! This bloom is 7 1/2" from top to bottom

I just LOVE it!

Terri, I was so excited about seeing the bloom, I didn't even think about checking it for fragrance! I'll have to go out to check

heres my brassia rex. Didn't have much of a scent but my brassia verracosa (the white flower) does.
