Oda. Margarete Holm in spike
Wow! This plant spiked this past spring - 1 spike with about 8 long lasting blooms. Currently has 3 spikes - I first noticed the first two spikes right before thanksgiving - one was about an inch - the other less.
In that month the largest spike has grown to 10", the next slightly less - and another spike has emerged isn now about 5"!
I'm so excited! Had this plant for a few years with it doing nothing except not dying! and now it seems very happy!

Congratulations! And I do mean it! I've had mine for a year and a half and finally have a spike. Just one short one with 4 big fat buds! Hopefully I've found it's happy place and it will continue to grow for me.

Way to go! I got one last spring in bloom. Since then, it has put out two new growths that are growing sooo slowly. Post yours when it blooms, so I can drool while waiting for mine.
