Default Showy Oncidium gardneri

This showy species is native to our mountains here in Brazil southeast region. This kind of gold rain fills the eyes with its brilliant beauty.

That sure is a lot of blooms for such a small looking plant! With the black background the blooms are so bright that they seem to pop out of the photo.

Stunning! Beautiful photo & I love the colours!! I think it looks like a 'cloud of gold' on your picture & can imagine a specimen plant with a huge golden shower!

This species is tricky, not easy at all to get into a specimen size. This very own I'm showing flowered regularly, then skipped one year, bloomed again, then stayed five, I repeat, five years doing nothing, then bloomed one spike, now two. Go figure!
Anyway, it is really beautiful! And thank you all guys!

Wow Mauro....I can see why they call this guy gold rain.

The color and pattern on the blooms is gorgeous, and the flower size looks to be a bit greater than many other oncidium species I've seen. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Well done!
