Mtssa Shelob
I passed this up in Home Depot last night because there was no tag IN the pot...but there was one with the name on it lying next to it on the table. I came home, did a little research and found that the tag is correct!
So...my wonderful hubby ran out this morning to grab it!
I have a very small seedling of this but now I won't have to wait years before enjoying it It has one more bud to go!
The last pic is of a newer bloom which shows the truer pink color of the lip, the older bloom is about 5 inches from top to bottom!

Oh wow, very nice indeed! You folks in Florida sure have good luck at HDs. You won't see anything like that in Maine HDs. Nice find, Sue! Can I hire your husband to train mine? Great find there, too!
By the way, my guy is great even if he doesn't get the orchid thing.....but if I could get him to change........

That is absolutely GORGEOUS, but, it is NOT Mtssa Shelob 'Webmaster'. Do a bit more research, a beautiful flower though

You're right! ...but that is what the tag says. I'm leaving it as Mtssa Shelob and removing the 'Webmaster' part of it. Now, at least I don't have two of the same chid!
I have now looked at dozens of pictures and can't find one with the same beautiful markings and coloring this one has...I like this one more!
Thanks

Kiki....I just can't help myself...you know the ol' addage...be careful what you ask for...you could find yourself run out of your home by an extreme case of orchid obsession cumpulsive disorder.
