Default BUTTERFLIES EVERYWHERE!!!!

This is Psychopsis Mendenhall and Psychopsis Butterfly almost in full bloom. It would include Psychopsis Mariposa, but it's flower, and one flower from Pyp. Butterfly (the big one), couldn't hang in there long enough for the others to open....they fell off just the other day! Pyp. Butterfly had three 4-5' spikes, but they all got a fungus from water holding in the sheaths. So I mounted it (to let them hang) and cut the spikes in half....and before I knew it, it had five spikes!! I now mount all my Butterflies to avoid this. Had the other blooms held in there, it would have been eight butterflies. Oh well, I guess six will have to do......I think I need a net! Enjoy...

The Psychopsis is the next orchid I planned on getting...never had one before. After seeing your pics, I don't think I'm going to take my time in getting it! I think I want one NOW!!!

Beautiful! Enjoy!

2-3 months. These are some of my favorites, there is almost always a flower on at least one of them! Thank you all.

Jasen... Your butterflies certainly have the "wow" factor! That's some great growing you've got there!
