Default Is this a spike on miltassia?


I bought a NOID miltassia in early March. I had 2 new growths on it. One has gotten pretty big and the other I accidentally broke off. Ooops. I don't know what those translucent spots on the leaves are. Don't think I've taken very good care of it. Can anybody tell me if this is a spike emerging from one of the leaves?
