Thats a really big mount, maybe you should use a hanging basket and let it become a giant ball of flowers. If you have the space for such a monster.

bonsai - What do you mean, "i think $10. was a good buy". Anytime you get an 8" or larger orchid is a Greaaaaaat buy. I a great looking flower and I wish you well with the mount. I only grow oncs. in tree fern w/redwood chips. A specimen plant can get pretty big!

Maybe 10-12 inches, a wire one like those from Calwest orchid supplies would probably, is that spelled right ,anyway,, do best. The wire will allow the plant to grow around the basket eventually completely covering it with growth. you might not be able to move it around much after it is fully grown but it will be a show when it blooms.

Sorry but I will pass on the seeds-----too difficult and too long to grown to bloom. I may not have that many years in order to enjoy!

never mind about the seeds. i cut them off because it takes too long for them to mature.
