Oncidium Masterpiece 'Puanani'
Default Oncidium Masterpiece 'Puanani'

I recently got this from someone who was downsizing her collection. There was another tag included that said:
Onc. Firstlove x onc __________ (can't read--looks like ondiom??) Treasure. can anyone help with missing word and is there anything special I should know about its care, or treat like all oncidiums in general?? thanks for your help

There is no Onc Firstlove in the background of that plant.

The Masterpiece I found had different heritage and is no longer Oncidium but the following:

Onzelumnia Masterpiece (Zelemnia Trixie x Oncidium varicosum)

Does anyone else have assistance for this one?

I think Addicted pin pointed it -
I checked the RHS registry and found this
Tolumnia Orchidom Treasured Love = Tolumnia First Love X Tolumnia Orchidom Treasure
Tolumnia is an Equitant Oncidium.

There is a Tolumnia Perreira's Masterpiece = Tolumnia Perreira's Choice X Tolumnia Celebrity

Bolero - I found the same Onzelumnia Masterpiece in the RHS registry, also

Oncidium Masterpiece 'Puanani'
Default Oncidium Masterpiece? -clarificationtha

thanks for everyone's help so far. From what you wrote, I am now thinking perhaps tags for two different plants got mixed up together in the same pot. So if we just pay attention to the tag, Onc. Masterpiece 'Puanani', what is the parentage of that one? many thanks again!

There no longer is a Onc. Masterpiece .. they changed the name to Onzelumnia Masterpiece as per www.wildcattdata.com/NewWeb/OncidChanges.rtf

Onzelumnia Masterpiece = Zelemnia Trixie X Oncidium varicosum

Zelemnia Trixie = Tolumnia triquetra X Zelenkoa onusta

'Puanani' is the cultivar and when looking it up on the RHS registry, it isn't necessary or required in acquiring the parent's name of the grex.
