It is creepy I'm very desperate for it to flower.I keep it in the front porch so that the spike won't be damaged. I think that it's one of my PR natives but not sure until it flowers. The other 3 spikes are growing over my roof now

I think that guy getting too much shade.
Could you make up your mind to pinch in the end of one spike . try with one spike and see.
Once my single spike was broken down and it grew once agin and bloom as well.
Yes these spikes can grow meters long .Too much water and shade.

WOW really. You mean to pinch the spike at the end of it. Won't that damage it or something?? I'm going to put it in a place were it can get more sun.

I am shocked! I had no idea that this could happen!

Looks like it's on the hunt for a little patch of sunlight! Maybe increase fertilizer too? Give it a kick start.

You should pinch yourself, tickle the plant, and just relax and enjoy the show! It may be low light causing the creepy creeper, but I think it's cool.

I say just let it be (just pollinate one or two ).

hi Hi .you can pinch yourself if you like!
But yes break the spike at the end of it .Nothing will happen .It will stop growing bigger and start to get buds.
We got lots of experience. you should stop growing longer.
