Talking onsidium Chas Fitch Izumi black spot

hello all i have a onsidium, its called Charles Fitch Izumi, it is in bloom, wow,, it is real nice, im gonna figure out how to post pics here asap so i can show it off to you all, but for now, i have had a little problem,, ive had it about a month or so now, ive been misting it,with all my orchids,, it had black spot on the leaves when i bought it, i thought this was normal ,,, it looks real healthy otherwise , ive reading that my misting could be antagonizing the black spot on the plant ,is this true? should i not mist? does the plant like t have its leaves wetted? or should i let them stay dry?? does anyone now if this paticular variety likes much light? i have it on a screened in porch, it gets morning light thru a eastern facing open screened wall, the light changes to shade due to the suns position miday, but it is still lighted indirectly due to the regular roof covering blocking the sunlight//is this ok for this variety ? does anyone else outthere have one of these great plants ? it came from Chesterfield Orchids,, they are great people by the way, they always send extras with orders free plants ect.. i buy from them when i can, but anyways,, is the black spot from my misting? can i remedy this? any lighting sugjestions? : thank you people,
