This is going to be NICE. 6 spikes. Took me a long time to figure this species out.

What'd you figure out about its care? Your medium looks chunkier than mine with no holes along the side of your pot. How often do you water? I might try to copy you

Chunky perlite and those clear no side hole pots have really helped my care in general. I grow all my epiphyte/lithophyte orchids in either a bark/chunky perlite or a sphagnum/chunky perlite mix in a clear no side hole pot. Chunky perlite allows for a better ratio of air/moisture in the pot that epiphytic orchids seem to love. The pot; I begrudgingly accepted that I need a good visual to truly understand what is happening beneath the surface of the media. This visual allows my to set the right watering timing and randomly check in on root health. Side holes allow too many roots to escape, it becomes a mess and reduces the number of roots in the pot, where all the moisture and nutrients are.

How dry do you let it get before watering again? I have about 1/3rd of my medium as sphag but I put holes in the sides of my pot to compensate. I still think it might be too wet 😅. Someone said they grew their suavis in phrag conditions which really confused me haha
