And here it tis in all its *insert Bruce Lee accent" heavenly glory!

quiltergal: I agree. There seems to be a lot of varieation in the little Tolumnias, even within the same cross! My blooms look a bit lighter to me too. But when I moved it to an enclosed grow rack, at least one of the buds flowered a bit more intensely. So maybe I need to improve blooming conditions for it next time around?

Now that I've had this guy around for a month or so I'm beginning to think color has more to do with light intensity. We've had pretty gloomy weather for the last 2 weeks and the newest blooms on mine are pale too.

Gwen and Terri, these are sooooooo dainty and pretty!
Don't they need quite a bit of air movement? Do you have a fan somewhere close by?
I haven't dared to try one 'cause of "hot growing" and "air movement".

Al, I'm getting ready to repot mine as soon as my stuff gets here from Ray's. Mine is on the top shelf of the grow rack close to the window and directly under a T5. The top shelf is right under a soffit and stays a bit warmer than the rest of the grow area. I don't have any fans in my area at all. Mine could look better but I think conditions will improve with a new pot and medium. Phals like to be warm and you're growing some of the prettiest Phals I've seen. Give one a whirl. They're tiny, don't take up much space.

I keep two fans in my plastic covered growing shelf.
