not that they arent nice, they are a nice velvetly maroon colour (it looks more red in the picture, they are very dark and purplish in reality ), but... I personally would not have named it "Red tide" haha
the flowers just opened, so they probably won't have any scent for a few days, but the tag says it should have fragrance
It looks almost the same, but yours had a different mask on the large petal, and there is blight red in the center, mine is all pretty much one colour. pretty similar though . It could be a red tide, since there are different ones, i have 159, and I know there is a real red one that is 'red tide 160'. ps yours was soo nice!!!
Thank you
It had 30 blooms at one time on it at it's peak ..
I don't know what it could have been - A NOID is a NOID
but it was stunning fully flowered ..
and it was scent-less

( kind of like me .. senseless )
What happened to it?
I hope this one smells as good as my other milts oh well I ll have to wait a few more days ...
It was severely pot-bound when I bought it .. When I repotted it after it bloomed, I found the roots were a dried out, tangled mess .. I trying to save what pieces I could but nothing took
I think I overwatered it then underwatered it .. it was one of my first orchids and I didn't know what I was doing .. I chalked it up to a learning experience ...
I find I can't grow any orchids in bark other than phals and phaphs... the rest need to be lightly potted in spagh moss. I kill any roots when they are in bark haha. Anyways, my milts seem to be okay in moss, and are growing lots of new roots
No milts now .. despite loving them - I hesitate buying another .. Milts and oncids don't grow well for me so I tend to stay away from them .. if I do try any oncids, it would be a tolumnia ..
though, I have looked for smaller sized milts in the past..
