Default New growth on Aliceara Hilo Ablaze…?

Hello all! A couple of weeks ago I decided to up my game from Phals and got some new orchids including this Aliceara Hilo Ablaze Hilo Gold. I’m told it goes by another name now but that’s what the vendor called it. Anyway, a new growth is appearing on the side of the pot seemingly up from a root and I’d like to know what it is. A new pseudobulb coming up? It is off to the side of the pot as you can see, and away from the base of the plant. Any ideas and advice are appreciated. I’m new to these type of orchids so I hope it’s a good thing. Thank you!-16d85edc-90cd-4cdf-b4ee-56a4eee9448c-jpg

I can't see it that well but it's not from the orchid. I would guess a weed or fresh sphagnum moss growth.

If it was either a spike or a new pseudobulb it would originate from the narrow gap between the existing pseudobulb and the leaf-like bracts on either side of the pseudobulb. You can see the two bracts clearly in your last photo.

Only place they come from in the oncid group.
