Default Burrageara Dee Luce "Everglades"

I don't remember a Burr. being posted before, I'm sure I just missed it.
This is a really lovely plant, very large turtle shell shaped pesudobulbs with 2 foot spikes covered with blossoms. I counted 47 on the spike that is now fully open. There is a second spike just starting to open and a third coming along.
The color in the photo is a bit light due to the back light. I'll try to post a better one later. The real color is more of a burgundy and cream.

I don't think that there have been many Burr. being posted! Nice to see your big triple spiker this morning, while I am having my coffee!

Really beautiful hues and form!

Love to see the whole plant too, if you're going back to take more photos.

Very nice! how do you grow it? I heared they like to be treated like a catt in terms of watering. I want to buy a burr I have my eye on a Burr. Nelly Isler but now I like this one too

I have the Burr Nelly Isler. Nice little plant. Al is yours fragrant at all? Mine is supposed to be kind of an odd citrus type smell. Its just finishing up blooming for me. Put out a nice spray for a small plant and its first time. Though I think I like the color it yours much better!

Thanks Gwen, I'll try for a photo this afternoon but it is really cloudy here today and the light is bad. Supposed to brighten up later.

(..._...) ---I've been growing in a west window where it gets bright light and sun in the afternoon. and watering when I think of it......yeah, I guess like a Catt.

Paul - I don't detect any fragrance... I really like "Nelly". If this one continues to do well maybe I can find room for her.

Beautiful. I have Nelly Isler but I sure like your plant better. I like the richness of the color.

Just beautiful! I really must quit lusting after the big ones as I truly am out of space. I think I need a new room on the house!
