Default Mtssa Shelob 'Red Spider'

Here is another of my problem plants...problem because I've had so much trouble getting to stay alive....and to my surprise a flower spike! Not sure why "Red Spider" as there isn't anything red about it.

Beautiful plant, Doc. A good save! I'm very pleased to see it because I have a young Shelob 'Red Spider" that was given to me and I have no idea what to expect in a bloom! I wonder if mine will have any red???

CB, I think I should ship myself back top the west cost of Florida..back to my home in Ft Myers!!!!! along with all my orchids....these winters are killing me and haven't done much for the orchids!
Shirly, aside from clonal differences and between plants and the age of the plant, yours should reward you with similar colors...I'm sure you'll post pics.

Here is my Red Spider's first bloom. The photo was taken in low natural light but I think the colour is very accurate and I'm very happy!
