Default Brassia Edvah Loo ‘Nashida’ soon to bloom

My brassia is about to bloom. I will send pics when it does. It dropped 4 of 7 buds on the spike; disappointing but hopefully I get to see at least one bloom.

Also, I waited many years for the first bloom and kept getting fooled by new vegetative growth hoping it was a bloom spike. I could never find good pics anywhere showing exactly where to expect the spike to originate from, so I am including a pic in case anyone is ever looking for that information.
