Do you think these will grow well under Oncidium general care?
I'm not so sure about lower temps in winter months.
It seems it's requirements are similar to Laelia anceps, except for the light levels.

I've only had a small plant since last year growing with my laelia lundii, currently producing a new growth.
It's not growing backwards at least but I am not treating it like any other oncidium.
My Tiny Twinkle doesn't get much attention, I keep oncidium cheirophorum hot and this one has gone down to 10 degrees C at night this winter no problem. Just like with my lundii I only give them heat during the day and at night it can go very cold.
With minis like the mexicoa I think the condition of the plant is the most important when you buy it to see whether it will do well or not.
I have bought orchids that had such abnormally undersized bulbs or leaves that they are technically alive but won't have the energy to produce a full sized growth and just never thrive and flower. I think I got a good mMexicoa. I managed to get one of the last ones Akerne Orchids were selling last year and it is doing well here.

edit: just checked - they have them back in stock again

I grow it outside, with L. lundii and the various Leptotes. It handles my winter low temperatures with no problems.

My problem is if I can give it those low temps indoors (here, in winter, it rains).

Anyway, I already ordered one.

I don't think that it requires low temperatures. It just tolerates them.

Orchid wiz says:

REST PERIOD: Winter days average 75-77F (24-25C), and nights average 46-48F (8-9C)...

I know plants are a certain degree of extremes tolerance but in this case it won't kill it.
