Default Beallara Big Shot 'Hilo Sparkle' in bloom

This bloom opened in the last couple of days and another one has just started opening.
Its a large bloom, I was quite surprised, and delighted to see faint green in the centre of the petals, all the photos I had seen show a white bloom but I guess the camera washes out the green. I cant wait to see if it gets a fragrance. Ive read it smells like roses.
The spelling of Beallara seems to be open to change, Ive seen it spelt several different ways, Ive stuck with how it arrived to me.
I think this has had a 'proper' name change too, Schunkeara, I think it is now.

Very nice. I bought one too, last year, but it won’t flower for a year or two.

I think the green will fade as the flower matures - usually does.

Thank you, yes there are another four or five to open.
The second bloom you can see in the background has fully opened now.

Thank you. You wont be disappointed with the blooms, so much bigger than I thought they would be.

The last bloom has now opened. So happy with the result, 2 weeks in bloom so far and the oldest bloom (far right) still looks good.
