Onc twinkle not blooming

In 1/2019 I bought a white Twinkle in bloom. A few months ago I got the pink one. The pink one is currently in spike. The white one has grown some new pbulbs since I bought it but has not even thought about flowering. Plant is very healthy looking. Great roots too.

Both plants sit side by side on my GH bench. Same size pot, water, fert, air movement, temp. And next to them sit my Sharry Baby and two Cleo's Pride…all in bloom!

Probably it needs some more time to adapt. It all depends on the conditions in which it was growing before you bought it.

I think sometimes first-bloom Oncidium mericlones take a while to flower again. Give it more time.

Thanks everyone. Patience is not one of my virtues but I'll give it till next spring. The white Twinkles have such a lovely fragrance!

Same as the pink twinkle.

Hmmm! My pink one has a much milder scent than the white one had.

There are three varieties: Pink, white and yellow.
All of them are the same hybrid (Oncidium cheirophorum x Oncidium sotoanum).
The sent quality, intensity, etc might be determined by environmental conditions, for ex. Also it can change during the day.
