Default Miltonia candida

I love this Miltonia, especially the contrasting white lip and the brown petals/sepals. Interesting, but this plant always gives only three or four flowers for me... it has been difficult to grow it into a specimen because the back bulbs always shrivel and dry! I changed the media sometimes to see if I got better results, but nothing. Go figure! Sometimes it's the plant itself.

I had thought of that, Snow, and moved it to a cooler corner in the grh last year, just after it flowered. It seems temps are not the major issue. I'm convinced that this specific clone is really difficult to grow .

Wow, that is quite a bloom. I love the colors of that. Maybe someday I will try to grow some difficult varieties.

Wow. That one kind of sneeks up on you, and says TADA! I'd take three flowers any time.

To me, that is a very unusual looking Miltonia flower! I have a few Miltonias myself (actually Miltoniopsis) but the blooms aren't anything like that at all! It is very pretty.

Kim, you and your always vivid imagination! I like the 'TADA' thing! It came into my mind the classic end of a dance performance when the artist, open arms, looking at some point, waits the audience to explode clapping!!
