Vuylstekeara Cindy 'Pinky Lee'
I used to have this plant Vuylstekeara Cindy 'Pinky Lee' (although it is called Miltonidium now, not Vuylstekeara) and I loved it, but it died suddenly due to bacterial rot. It used to be fairly common for a while and readily available, but I can't find it anywhere anymore. Does anybody know where to get it, or have one you don't want, or have a division you are willing to part with? I loved that plant and I want it so bad haha. Thanks guys.

Here she is, the last time she bloomed before she died It happened so fast. She was fine one day, and the next day the leaves were yellow and falling off. I did a little surgery and discovered the line of black rot ran all the way through the rhizome from the oldest pbulb into the newest one, so there wasn't even anything I could cut away to try to propagate a new one.

Thank you so much! You're a prince. I love this one so much. I think actually the Odontiodas are my favorite orchids, but of course I can't grow them in my climate. I love this plant because it has Odontioda-like coloration and markings. The shape isn't as rounded, more Miltonia than Odontoglossum, but the color and markings are reminiscent of some of the Odontiodas I like the best. I also have Vuylstekeara (Miltonidium) Jerry Lawless which is even more Odontoglossum-like in shape, but I damn near killed it (twice), and it's just now starting to recover, but it's coming along and I think it's going to be fine.
I also have Vuylstekeara (Miltonidium) Carnival 'Rio', which I love due to its Odontoglossum-like form, but it has never been a vigorous plant for me. That's one of the ones I'm thinking about moving into semi-hydro to see if it does better that way.
But thanks so much for checking. I really appreciate it. Even if you don't have it, I'll still appreciate that you even took the time to check for me.

FYI, here's the two plants I mentioned. Jerry Lawless is the first, and you can see it has a nice new growth started, and I think it will be fine in a year or two. Carnival looks decidedly more rough, but it has roots and some small new growths. The pseudobulbs aren't shriveled, so I think maybe a trip to semi-hydro land might be just what it needs.

Well thank you anyway, it means a lot to me that you tried. Keep on keeping on. From over here in Texas, it seems like you're doing it right.
