Bllra. ysabella ' lunar eclipse'
i got this beauty from Kalapana and she had a healthy spike on her.
I typically expect that shipping will kill a new spike but it rebounded and has picked up right where it left off.
this one was funny because the five outer petals and sepals opened like three days before the lip fully opened
slow to speak, i suppose

I've received many beautiful and healthy plants from Kalapana.

Beautiful. I've avoided Beallaras thinking they might not like my warm-in-summer house. But it's pretty warm where you live.

it sure is....they do well here ...the flowers don't stick around quite as long as they might for some but i do okay with the genus
here is another bloom
they have nice subtle variation from flower to flower which makes it a fun experience to have a big spike bloom

Gorgeous! I love the contrast of the saturated purple/red and the yellow.
