Your orchid is only slightly shriveled. What I have learned from my experience is some orchids put a lot of energy into their spikes and even if they have a healthy root system their bulbs will shrivel. This has happened with my beallara, oncidium, and my cattleyas. My beallara got extremely shriveled when it was in bloom but now that it is out of bloom the bulb is plumping back up. I would not worry too much about you orchid and just let it bloom, if the bulbs are getting too shriveled just cut the spike early. Hope this helps, post pictures once the buds open!
