Looks good! You don't need to go a lot bigger on the pot...those don't grow all that fast, being a little potbound doesn't hurt them.

I believe it's in a 2" pot now, I'll probably get a 3" and call it good for now. This is the experimental inorganic medium plant, still trying to decide what setup I want to try.

Just to convey more about what I mean with morning direct sun ---- the left-most leaves of this psychopsis (my only psychopsis I've ever had) get gentle morning sun every morning. The leaves are flawless on this one. Strong plant.

A couple of baby size Sedirea japonica didn't fare too well, as I had placed them around the same spot, and got some of their leaves burned. Fortunately - not fatal! So had to move the fairly newly acquired baby japonica further to the right ----- to more shade. Maybe one day I can try sun-hardening the japonica a bit.

The psychopsis shares a drainage grill and pot tray with two juvenile paphs - both Wossner Black Wings ----- need to share, as there's definitely limited space in my growing area heheheh.

oops ..... forgot to mention ..... the media is all scoria. And to align with the thread topic ----- when I first bought that psychopsis a couple of years ago, I disturbed the roots by removing the old media and put it into scoria .... new pot. Same was done with all the other plants surrounding this one.

Also ---- a nice new leaf is actually developing -- hidden (totally hidden) behind the vertical psychopsis leaf!

It looks great!!!!!! Wow, can't wait to get mine. I ordered it two days ago and know it will be a while. I hope it grows well for you!

I definitely would like to try again. I'm fascinated by Psychopsis. They're so strange and beautiful, and I would love to have one. The problem with mine started as soon as I brought it home. It was summer when I bought it, so it went straight outside with my other plants. When the spike died, I wasn't too worried, because a new growth immediately started to grow, so I figured it would be okay. But then that growth got about an inch tall, and shriveled and died. Then another growth started, followed by the same thing, over and over again until there were no more eyes from which new growths could start. And while that was going on, it came time to bring them inside, and the problem continued even once it was inside, so I don't know if being outside versus inside had anything to do with it. I've never seen anything like that. But I do want to try again. Maybe you're right, and that plant just didn't like me. I think you've convinced me that I need a new one. I looked at them at Hausermann, so that's probably where I'll get one, but you can't buy just one 8 dollar plant, so I'll have to find a couple other things I need from Hausermann too hahahahahaha
