new to Onc.
questions re; care
I have had three about a month. the two yellow mini intergenetics NoID, yellow and lovely, seem to be doing well. They have dropped a bloom or two this past week. Ifff I remember correctly, Oncidiums do no keep flowers on as long as Phals. I am keeping them with my phals, 50-60% humidity, gets small amt of sun daily. Moving them to a large curtained windowsill in east soon as it is a little warmer.
Third Intergentic Onc, is wine colored and very tiny. stem less than 10 or 12 inches. Noticing there is a small amt off yellow border on tips of leaves. Did not notice it before but could have missed it. I repotted her into smaller S\H pot and checked roots. all is well. I moved her to my cooler, lots of air movement and good humitity for all my growers. {7 new pots of phals growing with tiny new leaves.) Hoping she will perk up. still retaining blossoms that are firm.
The ?? is, they all have fairly healthy looking 2 or 3 pseudobulbs, one all green, one or two firm greenish brown but a bit wrinkled. does this sound ok? What about water, since they do not have a crown like a phal, Is there a caution about getting water on the leaves and bulbs?
Is there a greater need for more humidity with ONC; is 40-60 % ok?
