Default Onc. Alohi ‘ViCLI’ ( locthostates X onustrum)

First time blooming for this one. Got this plant in a box of orchids, from an estate sale at ViCLi Orchids in KC, Mo. back in 2007. It has taken some time and a few changes in way we grew it, but it has finally bloomed. We tried growing it more like onustrum, with a dryer winter but not completely dry. Watering every 12-15 days during the winter and kept moist during active growth. Bright light ( shadow when hand placed over) during both summer and winter, with good air movement. Does have the oncidium curse with leaf spots diseases and doesn’t like to hold on to it’s leaves longer than a year.
If any one has any idea what locthostates is, where it comes from, is it a oncidium, in the oncidium alliance, another genus, none of the above? It does add the brown color to the flowers, not much more. Onustrum influences most of the traits you see, plant size, pseudobulb color, flowers shape. Any help, ideas are greatly appreciated.

Its interesting, Selmo. I don't know if pretty describes it, though. The ribbed PBs are interesting too. I'm no help with any identifying. Maybe Roberta will chime in. Thanks for sharing. Its unique.

All I can add is thirteen years before it bloomed - you have great patience.
