Well, I'll stick my toe in the water. Two schools of thought here: Tolumnias and your Rodrumnia will do fine mounted. It is so potbound, you could just consider it mounted and leave it. OR, you can repot it in fine bark in a slightly larger clay pot.
Either way, like a Tolumnia, they need good light. They will "blush" when the light is right. Water thoughly and let them dry out. Good air circulation is important to prevent rot. Personally, I've had no problems with mine growing in clay, bark and high light. I water 2x a week by pouring through. Easy, carefree plants. Search for DVOS post in the Oncidium forum.
