Is anyone else just utterly shocked that the frontrunners aren't Juliani and Clinton? What the...

I have a feeling the RNC made a call and said "look, Rudy, we just aren't going to win, this year. People ar pissed and the scandals are piling up...how about another go in 4 years?"

I really feel like the RNC is kinda giving it to McCain because they are resigned to loss.

I can see why you think that McCain was "given" the nomination, but he was the best of a dismal group of candidates. Giuliani ran the worst campaign of any candidate from either party, gambling everything on Florida. The top 5 or so people running for the Democrats were vastly superior to the Republicans.
The funny thing is that despite all of the foibles of the Republicans and the disaster that is Bush, McCain has a decent chance of winning with Clinton and Obama showing their dirty laundry on a daily basis. Stupid....

I totally agree!!! McKain has got his act together and he's working towards a goal, where as Clinton and Obama are still pulling hair. Its not doing anyone any favors. I wish they would flip a coin and get it over with so we can play catch up! Its only hurting the American people. Time to let go of the egos.

Our economy is in great shape. Just ask W. Elections have become WHICH CRIMINAL ARE YOU GONNA VOTE FOR? Democrats want to give everything away without oversight and Republicans want to give everything to their friends. The money and lives that we have all ready lost in the Middle East is absolutely appalling. They can't have the $30,000 I owe as my part of the national debt. You know, if they paid politicians what they were worth, most would be homeless.

The Decider just asks us to sacrifice in our own little ways such as spending more money that we don't have. The end result to all of this is a possible depression and the rich getting even more rich. We will probably need another FDR to clean up the mess.

Hey folks, the best way (and only way) we have to express ourselves (this goes for every other Democratic nation as well) is at the ballot box. Get your voting-age friends to do the same.I personally think all three front runners are lieing crooks and I would have a hard time voting for any of them, but McKain is my front-runner bad-guy (in my mind). I just hope others can seek the truth about the candidates, for one web site check U.S. Veteran Dispatch :: Military News POW/MIA Freedom Bracelets Ted Sampley is not someone I would call my friend, but seems to have a way of provoking folks to uncover the truth, if even to try to prove him wrong. He seems to have more evidence than I can disprove.

Wow! I never expected this. Cj you started a riot.

You are right Shannan, IBM has held up pretty well in this market. I keep selling it to keep my portfolio balanced. I guess once you're an IBMer you don't forget it even with the spinoff. The best days of my work life were the IBM days. I know its changed because I have so many friends still there, but to me it's frozen in good time.

Cj I thought I was the only one left on earth that remembers and uses the CF word. Good for you.

I love the inputs from all of you. I thought I was the only one that feels horrible about the Bush/Cheney/Rove rule. Some of you are more upset than I am..if that's possible.

I was for Obama, but no more. The Wright tapes did me in. I think he (or possibly his wife) is in the black radical category. I don't like white evangelicals or black radicals. They both want to blame me for all their ills and tell me how I should live. People in the middle (most of us, I think) seem to have no voice whatever. Hill isn't the best candidate I can think of, but she's the least dangerous of the current group. I still think none of the above should be on the ballot.

Here's my fear...because the DNC is insulting Florida and Michigan, those voters will vote for McCain because they are mad at the DNC and we really will have a 100 year war. I had to laugh when I saw a shot of McCain flanked by Lieberman and Lindsey Graham. Talk about three dreary, old boring white men....holy cow.

Ross, I've heard the McCain story from other sources. Maybe there is something to it. You seem to know some facts. Were you in a NV prison also?

No, but in country, while McKain was there. For me (I realize it's my problem to deal with) I have a hard time with someone that is supposed to have done thes things claiming (and being championed) to be a war hero. The weeks of brainwashing I went through (name and serial number) if captured, seem to be different from a "war hero" running for President. I just can't deal with that. None of the knowledge I have is first-hand, I admit, but I trust the sources at least 50% A 50/50 chance is a problem for me.

The narrow circle I run in is not for McKain (DNC not withstanding). Ron Paul seems to be a valid candidate for conservatives (even though a no-show in Michigan) and one of the two Bobsie twins are also mentioned. I think we're in a lot of trouble and the spill-over to the rest of the Democratic (not donkeys ) nations will be sucked up in the quagmire. Hate to say it, but that's my

I just don't see a lot of people jumping the hill and obama ships for McCain. He has such dramatically neoconservative rhetoric, this time 'round...

He might get a few swing voters, but I just do not see people with even a little bit of liberal bent going his way.
