Default I sprayed an oxalis for aphids, think I may have damaged it

Brought home the cutest iron cross oxalis. A few days later it is covered in aphids. I had it sitting near my other plants and have been worried my other plants would get it.

Anyway, looked and the only other aphid killer I had was made for roses.

I sprayed it down pretty good, aphids look to be gone but now the poor little plant is very wilty and dry

I realize it was pretty dumb to use the wrong plant spray but I was in a panic and didn't have time that day to run to the store.

Running late for work so I don't have time to upload a pic.

Do u think it will bounce back?

It ought to. If it doesn't, cut it down completely. Those grow from little tubers. I often cut mine off completely and it bounced back. Those leaves are very thin and tender as you know, but the plant is sturdy. A couple of years ago, I threw a red one out on our dry bank ( who knows why). It rooted and grew all season.

More information needed, what exactly did you spray (product name and/or active chemical name), you can kill aphids with soap and water and most insecticides shouldn’t hurt oxalis, even ornamental oxalis. And what did you spray it out of, the original container/sprayer or another sprayer you use to spray other chemicals. A picture will be helpful too.

Thank you, I was thinking this. Today it doesn't look as bad, gave it a good watering. I will cut it back if it doesn't perk up soon... will try and wait until after St. Patrick's Day

I sprayed with an original spray bottle for roses. I do have a bottle of water/dawn/alcohol that I use to wipe down plant leaves when I bring them home from the store.... I could have used it. I just kinda freaked because they were everywhere Thanks.
