Our weather has changed significantly in the last decade. We used to have well marked weather conditions for every month in the year (it was almost possible to tell with a certain degree of certainty how the weather will be this month or next month, or the next...

Now, we have major dry spells for most of the year and when it rains, it rains in a week what should rain in the whole year. That's the tendency we are now noticing.

This kind of weather you see in the video is/ normal for this season, although it should not be so intense. And lately we are having tornados too, not so strong as in the US but enough to create a lot of damage.

We have been very blessed here. There is flooding around us, with another storm coming in tonight. Our weather is warmer than I remember as a child but it doesn't seem to gave changed dramatically. Maybe others won't agree with me on that. Don't get me wrong, we've had our share of straight line winds and lake effect snow...

I work in utilities in a tangential way, as a traffic flagger. It's been an interesting couple of days to be sure. A coworker was hit by a car this evening, but thankfully she checked out ok and seems more shaken up than anything. But she's around my age, so I suspect she'll be feeling it in the morning.

rbarata, we have had crazy weather, too, in the last decade. When we first planted the fruit trees, I never imagined having them bloom in February or early March but, now, that is happening quite frequently. We get these crazy warm spells, the trees burst into bud or bloom, and then it gets cold again and all the fruit is lost...year after year. Then we sometimes have really cold weather in the middle of summer. It is just hopeless. This spring, we are cutting down the plum and apple trees and taking out the grapes. I surrender!

Plum and apple are excellent choices of wood for smoking meat, so you might be able to enjoy eating from those trees yet!

The night of 3/7 on into the 8th was the worst storm as far as heavy wet snow that I recall having here in Vermont in many years. We got around 17 inches but thankfully I myself didn't loose power. My sister had bought a portable 'generator' for me for Christmas, and Tues I did a practice run with it in order to ensure that if I lost power, I'd still be able to have the heat mats warm. (Losing power for me means no heat in the house.)
So Thursday morning it was still snowing some, not too much. I was plowed out in time to head out to work, but that was not to be. The plow guy apparently scraped too low down my driveway and unearthed a boulder. This boulder was lightly covered in snow and I mistakenly thought it was just a blob of snow-NOT! I drove over it and was stopped in my tracks. Long story short, and a chunk of change later, I'm back on the road, and hear we're getting yet another storm. UGH! On the up side, I think I'm going to go snowshoeing tomorrow up in the woods behind my house
