My thoughts are with everyone in the affected areas. May you all stay safe!

Hope everyone is fine. We were suppose to get a storm but got nothing much, just wind.

Working 16 hour days getting things cleaned up, but other than that everything is fine.

Thanks Dolly for checking up on us. I am just now emerging from my figurative hole-in-the-ground to check on things, lol. I can't complain, the first night my daughter and I got smacked around by fierce slail (Sleet and hail). That's the first she ever said she hates snow. Too young, too young.
The night time winds have been tenacious for the last 4-5 days. I live on the 9th floor and the winds feel like they are going to rip my windows out. Somewhere enough of it gets in so it has been plunging my bedroom temperatures way below comfortable. Nothing a few comforters can't fix. The first day, a bit of fencing got ripped out of its location and nicked my car. This was at work, and its nothing to complain about though. Many city traffic lights were on the fritz the first night. But that is all I can report. So all in all, we are find here. |
So glad, Tindo! Tell your young sweetie in Indiana we call hail and snow "snail."

Cool, I was just making it up. |
Look how was the weather yesterday in the southern areas of my country...this video is specifically of a F1 tornado (one of the several that occured).
There have been a lot of damage, especially for farmers and their ghs...some people killed by sudden floods. So, you're not alone.... |
I'm so sorry rbarata. We hear little here about your country's weather. I hope you are all right. Is your weather normally so volatile?

Most of us are alright, thank you...mainly major property damages.
Our weather has changed significantly in the last decade. We used to have well marked weather conditions for every month in the year (it was almost possible to tell with a certain degree of certainty how the weather will be this month or next month, or the next... Now, we have major dry spells for most of the year and when it rains, it rains in a week what should rain in the whole year. That's the tendency we are now noticing. This kind of weather you see in the video is/ normal for this season, although it should not be so intense. And lately we are having tornados too, not so strong as in the US but enough to create a lot of damage. |
