If anyone has some free time on they're hands I would reccomend blowing apart some of the pipes in they're kitchen!! I have never had so much fun!! I was peeling potatoes for potatoe soup with the garbage disposal running and it must have let a few big chunks get by and clog up the works. Totally blew the hose apart that connected the disposal to the drain. Water and potato skin puree EVERYWHERE. So much fun. An somehow it made my glass of wine taste that much better . The switch to the disposal is under the sink and I had left the cupboard door open when I turned it on. So from the waste down I was DRENCHED. The best part was both of my dogs had been laying at my feet when it blew. When I finished cleaning up the disaster I looked over and they were COVERED in potato skins. Let me tell you, there was a LOT of puppy pouting going on!!!

That's gotta be the funniest story I've heard to date. Sorry it had to happen to you though. Would have been funnier if it was a neighbor, eh?

That is funny, we clean up a lot of messes at work (we own a ServiceMaster and clean up after water problems) but never have had a potatoe explosion, especially with dogs as innocent victims!
