Orchids whisper, I am also called The Orchid whisper in my workplace. This is because I am known to grow orchids, rescue them when asked to, and sneak off the floor with those lucky orchids that were ignored on a shelf in some office.

I think my name is self explanatory. I came to the board so I would not kill all my orchids and was feeling like I would never get it. Sometimes I still feel like that. So I guess the name still works.

What does your user name mean to you?

Mine is simply my name, obviously.

Personally, I think knowing folks real names helps make these conversations more personal and friendly.

Way back when, obscure screen names were used to protect identities, but I think that's really unnecessary in these forums.
