Not as showy as the more commonly seen miniata, but quite lovely.

This is the type species for the genus and was the first in cultivation. But when the showier miniata hit the scene 20 years later this one kind of fell by the wayside.

I had to do a quick search on this one. Al’s Orchids has a huge Clivia miniata, it is a unique looking plant I’ve often admired. The flowers on your plant are much more interesting with the colors. Thanks for sharing!
Al tends to have many different plants that customers have given him through the years.
